Christmas Cafe & Granny’s Pantry

What Is Christmas Cafe?

Christmasfest’s origins go back nearly to the founding of St Laurence.  A group of parishioners started making crafts to sell. This annual event, usually held the first Saturday in November, has grown into a warm and welcoming community affair.  The famous Christmasfest Café featuring breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls,  and home-made soups is eagerly anticipated by the community.  The tradition of parishioners making crafts continues.

The History Of Christmas Cafe

Starting in 2023 Christmasfest changed to a new look!! We have an enhanced Christmas Café and Granny’s Pantry which will again be offering our famous traditional fresh soups and a greatly expanded Granny’s Pantry with home-made jams and jellies, a bakery with pies, cookies, breads, etc., and crafts made by our parishioners. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at this event. Proceeds from Christmas Café and Granny’s Pantry support the operation of the Church and enable us to pursue our work in and for the community at large. The chairperson for Christmas Café and Granny’s Pantry is Kate Washburn . Please see the church directory for contact information or call the parish administrator.
