Generosity Campaign 2026

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!

October 5th, 2025

Dear Church Family:

It is a great privilege to serve this Fall as chairperson for our Generosity Campaign at St. Laurence.

Having arrived only a short time ago, I realized immediately what a loving and Spirit-filled parish this is.  Together we welcome our new full-time Rector, Father Chris Gregorio and this Fall, challenge ourselves to actively discern what is meant by our mission, “Living the Word of God and Sharing it with all People” in relation to our giving.

I ask each of you to join me as we again consider prayerfully how to give anew to this church and our community to meet rising expenses.  We are blessed to have this inviting, safe and beautiful church home to gather in, but need to properly maintain it for this generation and the next.  Our needed improvements include items such as replacement of boilers, office supplies, funding for each ministry, care of the grounds and parking, as well as paying outstanding bills to keep the church open.  We are asking you to help.

Might this mean that you commit to giving a pledge month by month for the first time ever?

Might this mean that you increase the pledge you made last year to include a monthly tithe and a gift above and beyond that?

Perhaps this year as you pray, listen, and wait for guidance, you understand you can share generously in giving toward the needs of our church, that it—we—may continue to be a gift to this foothills community.

I don’t know what you’ll decide nor how this Generosity Campaign will change your life, but I do know I’m realizing the blessings in my own personal life and will give generously above and beyond what I’ve ever given before, in tithe and offerings.  Will you join with me?

Giving together, let’s help strengthen the vitality of this holy space, and ourselves be strengthened in our relationship with the One who has loved us and given His life for us.

A Prayer for Generosity 

Loving and Gracious God, together with our sisters and brothers in faith, we join in gratitude for the countless blessings You have given to us. Among those blessings is a church home which nurtures and supports our hope.  Strengthen that hope that we may give sacrificially of our time, talents, and treasure to our church, to sustain and expand Your ministries. Send the blessing of generosity upon each of us. Help us remain resilient through the recovery. Help us to love and care for one another.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
